How can a need for lighting strengthen refugee communities?

Globally, there are an estimated 79.5 million refugees.

On average a refugee will spend 4 years in a camp. 

So why are they designed to disappear?

MATERIALS 

Bamboo is incredibly strong, and can be cut and fastened with basic tools. It also grows naturally in Uganda.
